The Dublin eLearning Summer School is now in its 15th year and since 2003 has provided participants with a forum through which to experience, explore and learn more about both existing and emerging technologies, and to consider how best to integrate them into their teaching, learning and assessment practices. This year we aim to bring these conversations on further and consider the wider issues that can affect our ability, at both an institutional and individual level, to provide appropriate, high quality, flexible and online learning opportunities for our students. The theme is ‘Digital Life in a post-truth world’. The topics to be explored include Higher Education in a post-truth society; Digital well-being; [In]Security in the cloud; Google versus Blackboard; and Be your own Fact Checker.
